All our hair extensions are sourced from high-quality suppliers that provide 100% cuticle-intact hair. The cuticle is the outermost layer of the hair shaft, and it helps protect the hair from damage and keeps it shiny and smooth. By preserving the cuticle layer, our hair extensions maintain their natural lustre and strength, ensuring a longer lifespan and a more natural look.

3.2  Remy Hair

Our hair extensions are made from 100% Remy hair, which means the hair strands are aligned in the same direction from root to tip. This ensures a tangle-free and smooth texture, enhancing the overall look and feel of the extensions.

3.3  Virgin Hair

Our hair extensions are unprocessed and free from chemicals, dyes, or artificial colours. We source our hair extensions from donors who have not subjected their hair to chemical treatments, ensuring the most natural and healthy extensions.

3.4  Ethical Sourcing

We are committed to ethical sourcing practices, and our hair extensions are obtained from donors who willingly provide their hair for fair compensation. We ensure that our suppliers adhere to ethical standards and do not exploit.

3.5  Quality Control Process

Our hair extensions undergo rigorous quality control to meet our high standards. Each batch of hair is inspected for cuticle integrity, alignment, colour, and texture. We only select hair that meets our criteria for quality and authenticity.

3.6   Maintenance and Care Instructions

To ensure the longevity and beauty of our hair extensions, we provide maintenance and care instructions with each purchase. By following these guidelines, customers can keep their hair extensions in excellent condition for an extended period.

5.2   Order Processing Time

We aim to process and ship your order as quickly as possible. Orders are typically processed within 2-3 business days of payment confirmation. 5.3   Shipping Options

5.8   Lost or Damaged Packages

5.9   Undeliverable Packages

If your package is returned to us as undeliverable, we will contact you to arrange a reshipment or refund. Reshipping fees may apply, and the original shipping fees are non-refundable.

6. Returns and Exchanges

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return or exchange it within seven business days of receiving your order. Items must be in their original packaging, unopened, and unused. Please get in touch with our customer service for a return authorization before returning any products. We will not accept any returns without prior authorization. The Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

HAIR EXTENSION WARRANTY POLICY

Wave Beauty QuickFit Cuticle Hair Extensions Warranty Policy:

We stand by the quality of our “QuickFit” cuticle hair extensions and are dedicated to ensuring our customers' satisfaction. Our warranty policy covers your purchase against defects in material or craftsmanship under normal use during the warranty period. Please review the terms and conditions and our warranty policy:

Warranty Period:

This warranty policy covers our Quickfit cuticle hair extensions for six months from the original purchase date. Any claims made after the expired warranty period will not be eligible for a replacement, refund, or repair.

Coverage:

This warranty covers defects in material or craftsmanship. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage resulting from improper care, misuse, accident, or unauthorized modifications.

Proof of Purchase:

To qualify for warranty service, you must provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order confirmation, indicating the date of purchase and product details.

Warranty Claims:

If you believe that your cuticle hair extensions are defective and covered under this warranty, don't hesitate to contact our Customer Service team at Info@wavebeauty.co.za. Provide proof of purchase, a detailed description of the issue, and any supporting photos or videos, if applicable.

Replacement or Repair:

Once your warranty claim is verified, we will, at our discretion, either replace the defective product with a new one or repair the product at no cost to you. The replacement or repaired product will be shipped to you within a reasonable time.

Limitations:

This warranty policy does not cover any incidental or consequential damages, such as loss of time, inconvenience, or loss of product use. Our liability under this warranty policy is limited to replacing or repairing the defective product.

Care Instructions:

Please follow the care instructions provided with your cuticle hair extensions to ensure their longevity. Failure to follow these instructions will void your warranty.

Acts of Nature:

"Cuticle hair extensions, often called 'Remy' hair extensions, are considered the highest quality. These extensions are made from human hair that has been carefully collected to ensure that all the hair strands run in the same direction, from root to tip, just like natural hair. This is important because it means that the outer layer of the hair, called the cuticle, is all facing the same direction.

 

The cuticle is a protective layer made up of tiny, overlapping scales. In cuticle hair extensions, these scales all point in the same direction, which helps prevent tangling and matting. When the cuticles are aligned in the same direction, the hair looks smoother, shinier, and more natural.

 

Cuticle hair extensions are more expensive than non-cuticle extensions, but the investment is worth it. They last longer, look more natural, and are less prone to tangling and matting, making them easier to manage and style."

 

Caring for your Cuticle Hair Extensions:

 

Brush Properly:

Use a soft bristle brush or a wide-tooth comb to brush your extensions gently; avoid

tugging at the bonds or wefts and start detangling from the ends, working your way up to the roots. Do this at least twice a day to prevent tangling and matting. Never brush the hair when wet, as it is more fragile and prone to breakage. Be gentle when brushing or styling your extensions.

 

Wash Gently:​

When washing your hair, gently massage your scalp with the tips of your fingers. Do not rub or scrub the hair, which can cause tangling and damage.

Use sulfate-free and alcohol-free shampoo and conditioner to prevent drying out the extensions.

Wash your extensions every 2-3 days. Overwashing can lead to dryness and tangling.

When washing, gently lather the shampoo and work it down the hair. Do not rub or scrub, as this can cause tangling.

Rinse thoroughly and apply conditioner from the mid-shaft to the ends.

Gently rinse the conditioner with cold water to seal the cuticle and add shine.

 

Drying:​

Pat your hair dry with a soft towel.

Avoid rubbing or wringing the extensions.

If using a hairdryer, hold a low heat setting at least 6 inches from the wings.

Whenever possible, allow your extensions to air-dry.

 

Heat Styling:

Limit the use of heat-styling tools like straighteners, curling irons, and hair dryers. If you must use them, always use a heat protectant spray. Using a heat protectant is essential when styling hair extensions with heat tools, as it creates a barrier between the hair and the heat, helping to prevent damage such as dryness, breakage, and split ends.

Here's how to properly use a heat protectant:

Apply to Damp or Dry Hair: Some heat protectants are designed for damp hair, while others are for dry hair. Make sure to follow the instructions on the product label. If you're using a heat protectant on wet hair, allow your hair to air-dry or use a hairdryer on a low heat setting to dry it before styling.

Distribute Evenly: When applying the heat protectant, start from the mid-lengths of your hair and work your way down to the ends, avoiding the roots. Use a wide-tooth comb or your fingers to distribute the product evenly throughout the hair. This ensures that all parts of your extensions are protected from heat.

Use the Right Amount: Using the correct amount of heat protectant is essential. Too little won't provide enough protection, while too much can weigh down your hair and make it look greasy. Typically, a dime to quarter-sized amount is sufficient for medium-length hair. Adjust the amount based on your hair length and thickness.

Style as Usual: Once you've applied the heat protectant, you can style your hair as usual. Use your heat tools in the lowest practical setting to minimize damage. For example, if you're using a flat iron, limit the number of passes you make over each section of hair.
